Mumbai Pharma Association ("MPA", "we", "us") organises the Mumbai Pharma Premier League (MPL-7 2027). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this registration website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By submitting the registration form you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
When you register as a player, we collect:
- Player name, gender and age
- Company / broker name
- Mobile number (preferably WhatsApp)
- T-shirt size and food preference (Jain / Regular)
- Cricket details: whether you play regularly, batting and bowling skill level
- Interest in sponsorship (Yes / No / Maybe)
- Passport-size photograph of the player
- Any suggestions you choose to share with the MPA Committee
- Payment status and transaction references (order ID, payment ID) returned by Razorpay
We do not collect or store your card, UPI, net-banking or wallet details. Payments are processed entirely by Razorpay on its secure checkout.
2. How we use your information
- To register you for the tournament and confirm your payment
- To contact you about fixtures, schedule, venue, kit and other event updates (including via WhatsApp, call or SMS)
- To form teams, prepare player lists and identity / player cards, and arrange T-shirts and food
- To reach out to those who showed interest in sponsorship
- To process refunds, resolve payment issues and keep financial records
- To improve the organisation of future MPA events
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed with:
- Razorpay (payment gateway) to process your payment and refunds, under its own privacy policy
- MPA Committee members, team owners / captains and event volunteers who need the details to run the tournament
- Our website hosting provider, which stores the website data on its servers
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect our legal rights
Your name, company and photograph may appear on team sheets, scoreboards and event material shared with participants.
4. Photographs and media
The photograph you upload is used for player identification and event records. Photos and videos may also be taken during the tournament and used by MPA on its social media, website and promotional material. If you do not want to appear in such media, tell us in writing at the contact address below.
5. Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the payment window is loaded from Razorpay; these providers may receive technical data such as your IP address and browser details as part of serving their content.
6. Data security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards, including restricted admin access and server-side protection of stored data, to protect your information. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep registration data for as long as needed to run the tournament, handle queries and refunds, and meet legal or accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Children
If a player is under 18, the registration must be completed by, or with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian, who accepts this policy on the player's behalf.
8. Your rights
In line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may withdraw your consent for non-essential communication. Some information (such as payment records) may need to be retained for legal reasons. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with its "last updated" date.
