Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy explains when a registration fee paid for MPL-7 2027 can be cancelled or refunded. All payments are made in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay.

In short: the ₹1,000 registration fee is a confirmed-participation deposit and is non-refundable if a player withdraws. Refunds are made if MPA cancels the event, if you are charged more than once, or if you are charged but your registration is not confirmed.

1. Cancellation / withdrawal by the player

Registration is compulsory and confirmed only after payment. As stated in the declaration on the registration form, if a player confirms his or her name and later cancels or withdraws, the ₹1,000 deposit is forfeited and will not be refunded.

If you cannot play, you may ask the MPA Committee in writing whether another eligible player can take your place. This is at the Committee's discretion.

3. Failed payments

If your payment fails but money is deducted from your account, it is normally returned automatically by your bank or Razorpay within 5 to 7 working days. If it is not, write to us with your payment ID and we will help.

4. How to request a refund

Email or WhatsApp us with your player name, registered mobile number, payment ID (starts with "pay_") and the reason for the request. Please do this within 7 days of the payment or of the event announcement.

5. Refund timeline and method

Approved refunds are initiated within 5 to 7 working days and are credited to the original payment method (the same card, bank account, UPI ID or wallet). After we initiate the refund, your bank or card issuer may take a few more working days to show it in your account. Refunds cannot be paid in cash or to a different account.
